do pretty...: i feel so confused...

this new year has quickly gotten itself all comfortable, while i'm still struggling to stamp in my pea brain the #'s 2013. there' s been a lot that has already gone down this year and we're only 15 days into it... how and what and who and where and???

i've had some opportunities allowing me to dip my toes in the design waters. nothing too crazy, but has been a real treat for the creative side of my brain to ramp up and be USED! i actually have a logo created, just needs a bit of refining. excited! thinking a logo will make me look a tiny bit legit?

my brother's home is wrapping up. i mean really wrapping up. like the front door is in, exterior paint should be happening as we speak, kitchen cabinets & sink are beautiful and people we have a toilet!! the process has been such a great experience for me. the really fun part is still to come...the decorating!!

think ALL white with brick. concrete slab to be poured this week. a real house is slowly transforming.

have loved working with my brother & his contractor. it's a perfect trifecta -----> "i" tell them what we want, "he" says, ok i can get that and then the other "he" pays for it. brilliant! funny thing about boys..., if you aren't in a decision making conversation then they'll just go ahead and chose something that they like. it's been funny showing up to his home and seeing certain things that THEY decided on. luckily everything has pulled together pretty seamlessly except for the move in date. a teensy bit later than originally scheduled.

the best news of the year so far is that i get to give this fridged cold weather the middle finger while i fly away to meet my husband in warm warm hawaii next week. trying to shove my white chubby body into a bikini doesn't sound awesome, but imagining the warm sun on my fat back makes me melt just thinking about it. my fingers are frozen as i type this!!
